Devlog #2 - Camera Movement and UI Improvements

Devlog Update - Camera Movement and UI Improvements
Camera Movement:
We have made significant progress in setting up the camera movement for our game. The camera is now correctly configured and seamlessly follows the player's actions. It enables players to effectively aim at items of interest and interact with them, providing a smooth and intuitive experience.
Camera Placement Offset for Cinematic Value:
To enhance the cinematic quality of our game, we have implemented a camera placement offset. This offset adds an artistic touch to the camera's positioning, providing a more visually appealing and immersive experience for players. Despite the offset, the camera still retains its functionality in precisely aiming at items, ensuring accurate interactions and gameplay.
Centre Dot UI:
We have introduced a UI element known as the "centre dot." This UI feature, although basic in design, plays a vital role in providing visual feedback to players. The centre dot is accurately centered on the screen, acting as a visual indicator for players to know precisely where they are aiming. This simple yet effective UI element enhances player accuracy and allows for more precise interactions with the game world.
As we continue to refine the camera movement and UI elements, we are actively working on incorporating additional features and improvements to create a polished and engaging player experience.
Stay tuned for future devlog updates as we make further strides in our game development journey!
